Riverwalk Chili Cook Off

It’s all about the chili and charity at the 10th Annual Riverwalk Chili Cook Off at Esplanade Park!

The goal of this annual event is to bring together all types of cooks, both professional and amateur, to compete for the best chili cooking skills. All teams are welcome to support a local charity while serving up chili and selling additional items at their booths. Come meet the team and ask any questions you may have about any Home Improvement projects!

Admission is free, however attendees can purchase sampling cups with voting chips to participate in the judging.
In addition to sampling all varieties of chili (meatless, vegan, mild and spicy), there will be fun activities for the whole family, music and exciting vendors!

YOU be the JUDGE… taste some or taste them all!
The Chili Cook-off is an opportunity for both amateur and professional chefs to compete for the opportunity to participate in the World Championship Chili Cook-offs, and for Riverwalk to promote our neighboring non-profits in a fun and relaxed way. Competing teams don’t just make delicious chili, they also raise money and awareness for their non-profits. The public can participate in the judging by purchasing sample cups and casting votes for the best chili. The team with the most votes will be named winner.
The winning team will be eligible to participate in the Last Chance Chili Challenge at the World Open Chili Challenge (WCCC) at the World Champion Chili Cook-Offs!
The afternoon will be complete with live entertainment, vendors and fun activities for all to enjoy, while raising funds for Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and other local non-profit organizations.

The event is FREE to attend for Chili Lovers of all ages, Riverwalk supporters and well-behaved dogs on a leash.
